Future of Privacy Forum Featured in NASBE’s May Issue of the Standard

The Future of Privacy Forum along with other student data privacy advocates were featured in the May issue of the National Association of State Boards of Education’s editorial the Standard. The May edition, called “The Power of Data” features articles that discuss school data use and student privacy. Kobie Pruitt from the Future of Privacy Forum wrote an article for the Standard called “Learning from Student Data.” The article discusses good ways to address parental concerns about student data and talks about how opting out of data collection is not one of them.
